Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assemblies ater the Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf (PTI) top brass formally decided to quit the “corrupt system.”

Sources privy to the mater said that both leaders are expected to meet soon in which they would discuss the all available options to halt the proposed plan of the PTI.

The maters pertaining to governor’s rule in the province and moving a no-confidence motion against the Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi will also be brought to light in the meeting, sources added.

Earlier on Monday, PTI senior leader and former federal minister Fawad Chaudhary said that the final date will be given within three days regarding the dissolution of the provincial assemblies.

While talking to the media, Chaudhary said that a meeting of the PTI leadership was held, in which it was decided to dissolve the provincial assemblies.

He said that the PTI chief will hold a meeting with Punjab Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi in this regard, adding that the ticketing process is about to start.

The PTI stalwart added that the meeting also strongly condemned the arrest of Azam Swati.

Meanwhile, the Mutahida Qaumi Movement-pakistan (MQM-P) has agreed to fully support and cooperate with the PPP in a possible noconfidence motion against Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani.

The MQMP cooperation was discussed during Zardari’s consultative meeting with the coalition partners of the government. The former president is holding a string of meetings with Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) partners in the wake of PTI chairman’s announcement of resigning from all the assemblies.

Zardari held the meeting with a MQM-P delegation during which the upcoming local elections in Karachi and the current political situation also came under discussion.
