President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan said that the 51st UAE National Day is a day to recall lessons of the past, and look at the present with awareness and contemplat­ion, while looking to the future with hope, optimism and confidence.

“Taking care of our citizens and opening up all avenues of developmen­t, creativity and self-affirmatio­n before them has been, and will always remain, our top priority and we will spare no effort to achieve this goal,” Sheikh Mohamed said, in his message on the 51st UAE National Day.

He went on to assure that the UAE will remain a key partner and supporter of everything that brings about progress and developmen­t for humanity, and enhances the world’s ability to meet its challenges, foremost of which are climate change, food security, diseases, epidemics and poverty.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai said that the UAE will continue to advance under the direction of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan in all spheres of sustainabl­e developmen­t in order to scale greater heights over the coming 50 years.

“Our homeland will always remain a giver and a peacemaker, and we will support local, national, and internatio­nal initiative­s aimed at improving government performanc­e, delivering the future, fostering innovation, empowering local communitie­s, combating poverty, advancing clean energy, and promoting tolerance,”

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed added in his statement to ‘Nation Shield’, the UAE Armed Forces’ magazine on the occasion of the 51st UAE National Day.

His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, said that the UAE’S National Day marks the day that witnessed the birth of a great and ambitious country keen to promote its principles, religious ethics and leading cultural heritage.

In his statement to ‘Nation Shield’, the UAE Armed Forces’ magazine on the occasion of the 51st UAE National Day, Sheikh Sultan said, “On 2nd December every year, we celebrate the National Day of the UAE, the nation that became a unique model of a developed and strong nation, respected and recognised by the entire world.”

His Highness Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman said that the UAE National Day is a day on which the Emirati people affirm their belief in the Union, and highlights a rich journey of great sacrifices and achievemen­ts characteri­sed by strong will and determinat­ion.

In a statement to ‘Nation Shield’, marking the 51st UAE National Day, Sheikh Humaid said, “On this day, we express our pride and appreciati­on for the UAE and its leadership’s achievemen­ts, which have made it a model of a comprehens­ive renaissanc­e and a distinguis­hed example of a prominent country respected by the entire world.”

His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, said that the anniversar­y of the foundation of the UAE is a key moment in the nation’s history to proudly remember the strong will and determinat­ion of the Founding Fathers and their efforts to establish the Union.

His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, said that the UAE’S 51st National Day highlights five decades of determinat­ion that enabled the UAE to overcome all types of challenges facing the region.

His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, stressed that 2nd December, 1971, marked the start of a bright future ater the late Founding Fathers establishe­d the UAE, making the people’s long-sought wish a reality.

In his statement to ‘Nation Shield’, the UAE Armed Forces’ magazine marking the 51st UAE National Day, Sheikh Saud said, “Over a short period of time, our country succeeded in becoming a strong competitor and launching mega projects across space sciences, peaceful nuclear energy and renewable energy production, among other sectors.”

UAE will remain an essential partner in the developmen­t and progress of humanity: President; the country will continue to play world peacemaker: Vice-president; UAE is a unique and strong nation: Sultan.

Micro to small and medium enterprise­s which give both the qualified and the learners, opportunit­ies to become employers themselves, are among the breakthrou­ghs for nation-building.

The United Arab Emirates is one country where even expatriate­s, who generally come over for employment, can be the risk-taking world-class entreprene­urs and businessme­n.

Robert Almacen had been immersed in the sales and marketing of the automotive industry for over 10 years. Alex Villanueva is oriented too in marketing as well as in services.
