Mohammad Saeed Al Mulla was born in Al Shindagha, Dubai, in 1926, and grew up in the emerging city, which was chalking out its path as a centre for trade and pearl hunting. Mohammad Saeed Al Mulla made his way early in the world of commerce in 1952, when he travelled to Burma via Calcuta (India) to buy wood, coffee and rice.
