DUBAI: For the second year running, Big Ticket Abu Dhabi brought together three of its past winners in an interactive panel discussion that shone a light on the unique experiences of the lucky individuals who walk away with life-changing prizes every month.

Capturing the inspiring journeys and personal stories of grand prize and weekly e-draw winners, the event held in Dubai marked a celebration of the transformative power of Big Ticket.

The indian exp at who wondhs 15 million in the a bu Dhabi Big Ticket in May has a plan to start farming back home as he is yet to touch his winning money.

“Besides some small spending, most of my money is still intact in a safe at least for six months as I want to feel the excitement ahead of big splurge. I saw many people who won millions but broke down in days to spend their money lavishly without any planning. I don’t want to be one of them,” said Pradeep Kumar, a resident of Abu Dhabi for over 36 years.

“I already spent a good part of my life in UAE and desire to do farming once everything is planned accordingly as my winning money will be untouched for a couple of more months,” he added.

Three past winners of Abu Dhabi Big Ticket shared their stories with the media at a breakfast event held in Dubai.

Rashmi Ahuja, an expat from New Zealand, was named the second Dhs100,000 winner during the first weekly e-draw in March. She has since split the prize money with her husband and shared 50% of her winnings with her daughter, who currently lives and works in Melbourne. She believes that “family is everything,” having no hesitation towards her decision and continues to purchase raffle draws with her husband and a group of friends, who are convinced she is lucky.

Vishal R., who resides in Dubai, similarly secured a prize of Dhs100,000 during the first week of March, making him that week’s third lucky winner. Introduced to Big Ticket via social media a year prior to his win, he has been consistently buying tickets each month. At the time of his win, Vishal, an IT consultant, shared with Big Ticket’s representatives his intentions to use the winnings to setle his debts, save some for future investments, and distribute the remainder among family and friends.
