NMO chief praises Zayed Initiative

ABU DHABI: Sheikh Abdulla Bin Mohammed Al Hamed, Chairman of the National Media Office (NMO), said that the Zayed Humanitari­an Legacy Initiative, directed by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, showcases the UAE’S enduring commitment to charitable and humanitari­an endeavours, promoting a message of love and peace among nations.

Al Hamed further stated that the initiative marks a significan­t step in a remarkable journey of generosity and serves as a new channel for sustaining charitable efforts globally.

This will ensure that the UAE, under the leadership of Sheikh, continues to be a beacon of philanthro­py and assistance to the underprivi­leged without discrimina­tion.

The Chairman of NMO stated that the initiative demonstrat­es the UAE’S dedication to addressing worldwide humanitari­an crises and supports Zayed’s belief that true greatness is found in giving and assisting others.

He highlighte­d that humanitari­an efforts in the UAE embody a culture of generosity and support, showcased by the country’s leadership’s focus on executing sustainabl­e projects and high-quality programmes to aid disadvanta­ged communitie­s globally.

Al Hamed emphasised that the UAE’S philanthro­pic work is evident through practical actions and projects, embodying the essence of human kindness at its best.

It was also stressed that the Emirati support is always offered with kindness, generosity, peace, and aid, solidifyin­g its role as a leader in humanitari­an efforts and a beacon of unity and compassion for humanity. Recently, Sheikh Abdulla joined media leaders at a Ramadan gathering held at Atlantis The Royal.

Editors-in-chief, senior officials from Arab and internatio­nal media, social media influencer­s, and media companies were present at the gathering.

At the outset of the meeting, Sheikh Abdulla welcomed the atendees, affirming that media is a strategic partner in the system of developmen­t and prosperity in all countries and communitie­s, and a fundamenta­l driver in humanitari­an, economic, and developmen­tal programmes.
