President, VP deliberate on well-being of citizens
President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan received on Tuesday at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai.
At the beginning of the meeting, they exchanged greetings with other guests and engaged in warm, brotherly conversations.
Their Highnesses addressed a number of important issues related to national affairs and the well-being of citizens.
They also discussed strengthening the country’s vision and its journey of development, including across social and economic areas, to foster further progress and meet the aspirations of its people for a more prosperous society.
In atendance at Qasr Al Bahr were His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court; His His Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance; Sheikh Saif Bin Mohammed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Nahyan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation.
Also present were Lt. General Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Sheikh Khalid Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Zayed Higher Organisation for People of Determination (ZHO);
Sheikh Theyab Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes’ Affairs; Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group; Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence; and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Presidential Court, also atended the meeting.
Separately, Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed on Tuesday received at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi several health ministers and officials participating in the inaugural Abu Dhabi Global Healthcare Week (ADGHW).
During the meeting, Sheikh Mohamed extended a warm welcome to the guests, joined by Mansour Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi.
He wished them success in their contributions to this global event aimed at achieving outcomes that will form the basis for future strategic planning in the global health sector.
Sheikh Mohamed highlighted the significance of these gatherings for exchanging ideas and insights on the latest trends and technological advances shaping the global healthcare system.
He also stressed the importance of developing innovative solutions to address challenges facing the health sector.
Sheikh Mohamed emphasised that the UAE is commited to supporting all efforts and initiatives aimed at advancing the future of healthcare and strengthening global health systems while also promoting investments in healthcare development for the greater good of humanity.
Participants expressed their appreciation to the UAE and the organisers of the Abu Dhabi Global Healthcare Week, which provides a vital plaform for dialogue and the exchange of ideas on future healthcare needs and strategies for advancing healthcare through a proactive and preventive approach.
On Monday, Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed received Prabowo Subianto, Minister of Defence of the Republic of Indonesia and the Presidentelect, at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi.
During the meeting, Subianto conveyed the greetings of His Excellency President Joko Widodo of Indonesia, along with his wishes for the continued progress and prosperity of the UAE.
In return, Sheikh Mohamed extended his best wishes for further prosperity and development to His Excellency President Widodo and the friendly people of Indonesia.
Sheikh Mohamed and the Indonesian Defence Minister discussed bilateral relations, particularly in defence and military affairs, and ways to enhance them for the benefit of both nations.
They also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest.
