For its fifth edition, a medley of live shows, visual displays, book signings, tasting sessions, live cooking classes and workshops on authentic cuisine, have been scheduled. Experts in the art of dining, etiquette and wine and spirits will also be sharing their tips.
More than 100 stands will be showcasing the latest accessories, utensils, tableware, kitchen equipment and food and beverage ingredients. Additionally, more than a dozen stands will be dedicated to a number of associations, corporations and artisans. The festival will host a Chefs’ Theater, Beverage Theater, Lifestyle Theater, Librairie Gourmande and Kids Village.
Chocolate lovers and connoisseurs alike are in for a treat with the second edition of the Salon du Chocolat. After the great success of the 2014 edition, SDC will include gourmet workshops, demonstrations and events.
This year’s show will also welcome a number of participants, among which more than 20 pastry chefs, as well as local and international exhibitors will gather in celebration of chocolate.
Taste professionals, specialists, celebrated brands, chocolatiers, chocolate explorers, designers, authors and pastry chefs will demonstrate their chocolate expertise in the Choco Demo. It will be an opportunity to witness expressions of art through chocolate as well as the unveiling of the latest products.
The exhibition will also feature the renowned chocolate fashion show, which pairs Lebanese designers with chocolatiers.
The Beirut Cooking Festival is held concurrently with the Salon du Chocolat during the second annual Gourmet Week, which runs from November 9-15.
