Wendy’s upgrades burgers to Angus beef
The fast-casual eatery is upgrading all of its burgers to 100 percent Angus beef, at no extra cost, throughout the brand’s 17 restaurants in the UAE. The Angus beef utilized by Wendy’s strictly adheres to the Australian Government Authorized Halal Program, Australia’s official system that controls the production of all halal meat. This means that all Wendy’s burgers will be 100 percent Australian Angus Halal beef. “Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA) are proud to support Wendy’s Middle East in launching the 100 percent Australian Angus burger to the market. At MLA we work to support the red meat industry in Australia and help develop all stakeholders' interests,” said a MLA company spokesperson.
