SPOTLIGHT ON HORECA JORDAN
Under the patronage of H.E. Lina Annab, HORECA JORDAN triumphed in attracting a large number of foreign firms, who used the show as a gateway to access Jordanian and regional markets. Exhibitors from Bulgaria, Italy, Turkey, Australia, UAE, Greece, France, UK, Korea, Romania, Ukraine, Lebanon and KSA, were among those present. The show further witnessed a stream of specialized visitors from abroad, trumping previous years.
The renowned Hospitality Salon Culinaire proved to be the event of HORECA, bringing together 120 chefs from hotels, restaurants and hospitals around the country. Competitions were judged by a panel of leading experts from South Africa, Lebanon, France, Palestine, Germany, Austria, Egypt, and Switzerland, headed by the President of the World Association of Chefs Society, Chef Thomas A. Gugler.
HORECA JORDAN wrapped up on the 10th of October having delivered yet another successful edition, with over 10,000 trade visitors. The three-day event was on par with international trade shows, showcasing the latest hospitality and foodservice trends and innovations.
Elsewhere, the popular Al Ameed Coffee Barista Competition sparked a lot of interest, with 13 participants competing head-tohead for the title of Best Barista, while the Bedmaking Competition and Table Setting Contest also drew in large audiences.
