World Week of Italian Cuisine The World Week of Italian Cuisine is a global event held under the patronage of the Italian Embassy and organized by the Italian Trade Agency and the Italian Cultural Institute, which aims to promote Italian culinary traditions and food-andwine connoisseu­rship as a distinctiv­e trait of Italian identity and culture. The third edition of the World Week of Italian Cuisine took place from November 18 to 24, 2018, under the banner of quality, culture, identity, territory and biodiversi­ty. Restaurant­s offered a special menu throughout the week.

Launching of Sweet Levantine at The Sage Parlour Lara Ariss launched her new book Sweet Levantine at The Sage Parlour in Mar Mikhael. In Sweet Levantine, Ariss explores the joy of creating sweet treats – a pastime that has fascinated her since she was a child on visits to the old souk of Saida in Lebanon. The evening featured a dessert table prepared by the author and happy bites created by the parlor, matched with wines from Tire Bouchon.
