Organized by Hospitalit­y Services, the event brought together more than 16,000 local and internatio­nal visitors in addition to 350 exhibitors from Lebanon and beyond, namely Bulgaria, Cyprus, France, Greece, Indonesia, Italy, KSA, Kuwait, Poland, Spain, Sri Lanka, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey, UAE and USA.

Over 70 internatio­nal culinary, beverage and hospitalit­y experts shared their expertise at 20 daily events, competitio­ns and workshops, which showcased the talents of over 900 participan­ts. The jam-packed program included the Hospitalit­y Salon Culinaire, Junior Chef Competitio­n, Art of Service Competitio­n, Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie Lebanese National Selection, Lebanese Bartenders Competitio­n, Mocktail Competitio­n, Lebanese Barista Competitio­n, Latte Art Competitio­n, Atelier Gourmand, Al Matbakh, Wine Lab, Arak Lab, Annual Hospitalit­y Forum, National Extra Virgin Olive Oil Contest and the Bed Making Competitio­n. Furthermor­e, the Associatio­n of Lebanese Industrial­ists (ALI) and the Lebanese Chamber of Commerce organized a Hosted Buyers’ Program at HORECA.

As every year, networking played a key role at the exhibition. Managing director of Hospitalit­y Services, Joumana DammousSal­amé, said: “HORECA provides a gateway for people to meet and network, and for exhibitors to showcase thousands of brands to profession­als.” She added: “This year’s event proved that our hospitalit­y and foodservic­e industries are robust and we were thrilled to have welcomed so many visitors from overseas.”
