Reem Al Hashemy, Sene­gal min­is­ter dis­cuss ties

NEW YORK: Reem Bint Ibrahim Al Hashemy, Min­is­ter of State for In­ter­na­tional Co­op­er­a­tion, to­day con­tin­ued to meet with a num­ber of min­is­ters and se­nior ex­ec­u­tive lead­ers from dif­fer­ent world coun­tries on the side­lines of the 73rd Ses­sion of the UN Gen­eral As­sem­bly (UNGA-73).

The min­is­ter met with Sidiki Kaba, Min­is­ter of For­eign Af­fairs of Sene­gal, and the two dis­cussed ways of pro­pel­ling bi­lat­eral re­la­tions to a higher level and ex­changed views on an ar­ray of re­gional and in­ter­na­tional is­sues of com­mon in­ter­est. Al Hashemy un­der­lined the UAE’S de­ter­mi­na­tion to ad­vance co­op­er­a­tion with Sene­gal in line with its dis­tin­guished re­la­tions with all African Union mem­bers states, with the Sene­galese min­is­ter afirm­ing his gov­ern­ment’s keen­ness to de­velop ties with the UAE.

She also met with Amina J. Mo­hammed, Deputy Sec­re­tary-gen­eral of the United Na­tions,
