National Day celebrations replete with patriotic fervour
Dubai: the ham dan bin mo ham med Heritage Center has started its celebration of the 47th UAE National Day with activities promoting the country’s cultural heritage at the Dubai International Financial Center starting on November 28.
Put on display by the HHC is a wide range of memorabilia dedicated to th eu a e’ s Founding Father aimed at connecting his legacy to the younger generation. There are also several mementos showcasing the late Sheikh Zayed’s humanitarian journey of strengthening the bonds of social cohesion and building the nation.
Also as part of the 47th UAE National Day celebrations, the HHC also held an activity at the HHC Library in Jumeirah on Wednesday. There were traditional Emirati songs and folk dance performed by local performers and troupe. The HHC Library also opened its doors to guests and offered souvenirs to commemorate the event.
HHC will be organizing the major celebrations event of UAE’S 47th National Day at Dubai Frame. The celebrations will commence at 4pm on Sunday 2nd of December.
To honour UAE’S 47th National Day, Emirates Post hosted an exciting line-up of events and activities at their ofices and branches across the seven Emirates from 25 until 28 November. The festivities brought together Emiratis and expat colleagues across numerous departments as they marked the occasion. In addition, a commemorative stamp featuring the oficial logo of the celebrations will be released in tribute to the leaders of the nation.
During the four-day long celebrations, Emirates Post branches were adorned in the national colours, enjoyed performances from students from various schools, while staff at its headquarters in Dubai put their artistic skills to use by painting a picture of the His Highness Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyanusing their thumb prints. Several locations hosted seminars and workshops, giving staff the opportunity to learn more about the UAE’S founding father in a fun and interactive way through games, quizzes and video content. emirates post also celebrated with the community at Downtown Boulevard as the festivities drew to a close.
Emirates Group employees gathered today to commemorate the UAE’S 47th National Day at the group’s headquarters in Dubai. The celebrations kicked off with a cake-cutting ceremony attended by senior management, Emiratis as well as their expat colleagues and family members who enjoyed a wide range of cultural activities throughout the day.
Ports, Customs, and Free Zone Corporation, with its subsidiaries: DP World, Dubai Customs, Tarakhees, Dubai Trade and JAFZA celebrated today (Wednesday 28th November 2018) the 47th UAE National Day at Port Rashid under the theme “Zayed..story of a nation” in the presence of Sultan bin Sulayem, DP World Group Chairman & CEO and Chairman of Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation, and the heads of PCFC entities and more than 1,500 employees.
