Na­tional Day cel­e­bra­tions re­plete with pa­tri­otic fer­vour

Dubai: the ham dan bin mo ham med Her­itage Cen­ter has started its cel­e­bra­tion of the 47th UAE Na­tional Day with ac­tiv­i­ties pro­mot­ing the coun­try’s cul­tural her­itage at the Dubai In­ter­na­tional Fi­nan­cial Cen­ter start­ing on Novem­ber 28.

Put on dis­play by the HHC is a wide range of mem­o­ra­bilia ded­i­cated to th eu a e’ s Found­ing Fa­ther aimed at con­nect­ing his legacy to the younger gen­er­a­tion. There are also sev­eral me­men­tos show­cas­ing the late Sheikh Zayed’s hu­man­i­tar­ian jour­ney of strength­en­ing the bonds of so­cial co­he­sion and build­ing the na­tion.

Also as part of the 47th UAE Na­tional Day cel­e­bra­tions, the HHC also held an ac­tiv­ity at the HHC Li­brary in Jumeirah on Wed­nes­day. There were tra­di­tional Emirati songs and folk dance per­formed by lo­cal per­form­ers and troupe. The HHC Li­brary also opened its doors to guests and of­fered sou­venirs to com­mem­o­rate the event.

HHC will be or­ga­niz­ing the ma­jor cel­e­bra­tions event of UAE’S 47th Na­tional Day at Dubai Frame. The cel­e­bra­tions will com­mence at 4pm on Sun­day 2nd of De­cem­ber.

To hon­our UAE’S 47th Na­tional Day, Emi­rates Post hosted an ex­cit­ing line-up of events and ac­tiv­i­ties at their ofices and branches across the seven Emi­rates from 25 un­til 28 Novem­ber. The fes­tiv­i­ties brought to­gether Emi­ratis and ex­pat col­leagues across numer­ous de­part­ments as they marked the oc­ca­sion. In ad­di­tion, a com­mem­o­ra­tive stamp fea­tur­ing the ofi­cial logo of the cel­e­bra­tions will be re­leased in trib­ute to the lead­ers of the na­tion.

Dur­ing the four-day long cel­e­bra­tions, Emi­rates Post branches were adorned in the na­tional colours, en­joyed per­for­mances from stu­dents from var­i­ous schools, while staff at its head­quar­ters in Dubai put their artis­tic skills to use by paint­ing a pic­ture of the His High­ness Sheikh Zayed Bin Sul­tan Al Nahyanus­ing their thumb prints. Sev­eral lo­ca­tions hosted sem­i­nars and work­shops, giv­ing staff the op­por­tu­nity to learn more about the UAE’S found­ing fa­ther in a fun and in­ter­ac­tive way through games, quizzes and video con­tent. emi­rates post also cel­e­brated with the com­mu­nity at Down­town Boule­vard as the fes­tiv­i­ties drew to a close.

Emi­rates Group em­ploy­ees gath­ered to­day to com­mem­o­rate the UAE’S 47th Na­tional Day at the group’s head­quar­ters in Dubai. The cel­e­bra­tions kicked off with a cake-cut­ting cer­e­mony at­tended by se­nior man­age­ment, Emi­ratis as well as their ex­pat col­leagues and fam­ily mem­bers who en­joyed a wide range of cul­tural ac­tiv­i­ties through­out the day.

Ports, Cus­toms, and Free Zone Cor­po­ra­tion, with its sub­sidiaries: DP World, Dubai Cus­toms, Tarakhees, Dubai Trade and JAFZA cel­e­brated to­day (Wed­nes­day 28th Novem­ber 2018) the 47th UAE Na­tional Day at Port Rashid un­der the theme “Zayed..story of a na­tion” in the pres­ence of Sul­tan bin Su­layem, DP World Group Chair­man & CEO and Chair­man of Ports, Cus­toms and Free Zone Cor­po­ra­tion, and the heads of PCFC en­ti­ties and more than 1,500 em­ploy­ees.

Mall of the Emi­rates takes you back in time for a glimpse of the desert sands from which the pros­per­ous Emi­rates emerged in a riv­et­ing pro­duc­tion that will be staged dur­ing UAE Na­tional Day from De­cem­ber 1-3.
