Ocean Fair and All Star register wins in Shijana Cricket Cup

DUBAI: Ocean Fair defeated Pulse Secure by 28 runs in the irst match of the Shijana Cricket Cup.

Batting first, Ocean Fair posted a total of 129 all out in 19 overs.

Brilliant knocks by Rishi Ramchandan­i (55), Tipu Ali (55) and Mohammed Ilyas 18 helped Ocean Fair post a decent total.

Fahad Tariq Butt clinched 4 for 25, Shahrukh Khan 3 for 19 and Ehtesham Siddique 2 for 32 for Pulse Secure.

In reply Pulse Secure, failed to reach the target and were bundled out for 101.

Adnan Arif and Adnan Khan made a promising start for Pulse Secure by scoring 33 for no loss. But after departure of Arif, Pulse Secure wickets kept on falling at regular intervals. Super bowling by Hafeez Afridi 4 for 20 and Rehman Gull 2 for 10 tore Pulse Secure batsmen apart.

In another match All star Rangers beat Multiplex Challenger by 4 runs.

Batting first, All Star Rangers made 181 for the loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs.

Chasing, Multiplex Challenger­s could only managed to reach 177 for the loss of 8 wickets in their allotted 20 overs and fell short of 4 runs to cross the line.
