Light rain ex­pected in some ar­eas of the coun­try

Weather to­day is ex­pected to be sunny to partly cloudy in gen­eral, and cloudy east­wards, with a prob­a­bil­ity of some light rain­fall over the east­ern coast, ac­cord­ing to the Na­tional Cen­tre of Me­te­o­rol­ogy (NCM).

It also ex­pects that the winds will be light to mod­er­ate north easterly to south easterly, with a speed of 16-28 km/hr, reach­ing 38 km/hr. Sea will be slight to mod­er­ate in the Ara­bian Gulf and may be­come rough at times in Oman Sea, the NCM added.

PARTLY CLOUDY

It is ex­pected to be partly cloudy in gen­eral, es­pe­cially east­wards and north­wards on Tues­day and Wed­nes­day. Light to mod­er­ate north­east­erly to south­east­erly winds, with a speed of 15 – 25 km/hr, reach­ing 35 km/hr are also pre­dicted. Sea will be slight to mod­er­ate in the Ara­bian Gulf and in Oman Sea, the Cen­tre added.

The min­i­mum tem­per­a­tures in the coun­try on Satur­day was mon­i­tored in Rakkna area, north city of Al Ain which reached 5.7ºc, while the max­i­mum reached 29.3ºc in Seih Al Selm area, Dubai, the NCM said.
