The Flow-sponsored Soca on the Hill has become one of the staple, events of soca lovers looking to have a great time! This year’s offering at the usual Farley Hill, St Peter location featured over five deejays, along with 25 solo artistes and acts, who certainly kept the thousands present moving, grooving and, as the tempo increased, wukking up in response to the energy being generated on stage.

Kirk Brown, iweb, Imani, Anderson Mr Blood Armstrong, Holla Bak, Faith, Kaskatee and Jahm-r were some of the acts that got the ball rolling during the nine-hour show. Soca heavyweights Lil Rick, Patrice Roberts, Shal Marshall, Blaxx, Skinny Fabulous and Lil Natty and Thunder whipped the crowd into a frenzy during their respective highenergy sets, cementing Soca on The Hill’s position as one of the non-negotiable events to attend during the Crop Over season.

Kudos is also due to the organisers who streamlined the entry and security process to make it a literal walk into the park.

The ever popular Partice Roberts had the soca junkies in her palms. Statement and crew. Part of the massive crowd at Farley Hill.

Holla Bak was one of the early performers. Shal Marshall of Trinidad was a crowd pleaser. Regal in white Peter Ram gave a good showing.
