Crop Over Souvenir - - UNMASKING MAKEUP TRENDS -

Screams of excitement echoed among the massive crowd gathered at the Kensington Oval last Tuesday July 31 for what many consider to be one of the biggest events of this Crop Over season, RISE: Soca Kingdom. Accompanied by the legendary Trinidadian soca star Super Blue, Machel Montano headlined the event, giving rise to groovy, upbeat tones and melodies. Patrons rocked and swayed in harmony as Montano and a talented cast of the Caribbean’s finest artistes such as Lil Rick, Red Plastic Bag and deejays including Dave Smooth, John Doe, Ras and Dj Indian delivered constant bursts of high energy and euphoria, backed by a live band.

“Epic!”, “Great!”, “Machel Montano is one of those performers that just leave you wanting more!” patrons commented.

Ideally chosen on the day before Emancipation Day (August 1), the masterminds behind this unforgettable event, Mastermind Creative Productions, working in partnership with international promoter Jay Upscale Marketing and Promotions and the Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc., didn’t disappoint in their deliverance of a jam packed event.
