English cricketers take a dip
CRICKETERS have wasted no time in hitting the waters at the popular Accra beach on the South Coast after arriving in Barbados on Friday evening for the first leg of their Caribbean tour.
After returning to their hotel following a practice session at the 3Ws Oval yesterday morning, some of them went for an afternoon swim and snorkelling.
Among them were captain Joe Root, leading fast bowlers James Anderson and Stuart Broad, and all-rounder Ben Stokes.
England will play the West Indies in the first of three Tests starting at Kensington Oval on January 23.
