HEALTH MINISTRY RECEIVES FIRST CONSIGNMENT OF ESSENTIAL MEDICINES FROM BANGLADESH
The ministry of health received the first consignment of essential medicines from the government of Bangladesh on Thursday. The medicines weigh a total of 35,000 kilograms.
A total of 258 essential medicines will be delivered to Bhutan this year.
The remaining consignments will be delivered in the same manner in two phases in October and November.
Bhutan requested for the supply of these medicines for a year during Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s state visit to the country last year.
