Announcing the new memberships, IOC President Thomas Bach said that the Olympic Movement would benefit significantly from the expertise of the new members, and that their extensive knowledge of the sports movement will add extra strength and experience to the universal college of IOC members.

His Royal Highness is His Majesty’s representative and President of the Bhutan Olympic Committee and has worked closely with federations and athletes to promote sports in Bhutan.
