2ND BHUTAN-AUSTRIA ECONOMIC FORUM CONCLUDES
The second Bhutan-Austria Economic Forum to bring entrepreneurs from two countries to create business partnerships and to harness each other’s strengths concluded in Thimphu this week.
The forum reportedly saw eight Austrian companies from diverse sectors such as energy, engineering, tourism, and health in Bhutan to explore business and investment opportunities.
The government, during the forum, also presented on how Bhutan is looking at economic diversification in the 12th FYP and that it will prioritize works to push Bhutan into the world top 50 in ease of doing business rankings. Bhutan is in the 81st position going by the ease of doing business report 2019.
Meanwhile, the forum was organized by the Austrian Development Agency.
