ENSURING EFFICIENT LAND SERVICE DELIVERY
The National Land Commission (NLC) launched three online systems and six documents in Thimphu last Tuesday to make land-related services more efficient.
One online system is the eSakor portal for rural land transaction – similar to the portal for urban areas launched two years ago.
The other online services include the Bhutan Online Land Tax Payment System (BOLTPS) and MyNLCS.
Using the BOLTPS, landowners can now pay land taxes online from their places of residence and it is expected to help improve land tax collection, administration and management of the overall land tax system in the country.
The MyNLCS online service, meanwhile, is aimed at providing faster communication, proper documentation and efficient public service delivery for the commission and its employees.
