Reviews
"Reptile enthusiasts and storytime tellers alike will be keen to get a hold of this silly and joyful tale about appreciating friends and all the wonderful changes they can bring."
"Real friendship, it turns out, can orient in more than one direction in this tale that balances the goofy and the gracious."
"Part of the fun of this rather straightforward story is Won’s artwork, which draws out Horizontal Crocodile’s length to a comical degree and is amplified by the book’s wide trim size....Rothman’s text draws out lots of words (“biiiiiiiig,” “grooooooooss”) to match the length of his protagonist, which should be a real hit for read-alouds."
