Kusamakura

This is a Boundary Bay Classics Edition of a classic novel Kusamakura by Natsume Sōseki. The novel tells the story of an artist who retreats to a remote, almost deserted hotel in the mountains. There he becomes intrigued by the mysterious hostess, O-Nami, who reminds him of the John Millais painting Ophelia.
