Reviews

The second book in the Styx and Scones series is another fun adventure where the cat and dog duo are warned about messing with magic but do it anyway. . . . Cooper's antic cartoon panels starring an odd-couple cat and dog keep the pages swiftly turning. A how-to guide in the opening pages helps kids unfamiliar with reading comics grasp the conventions. A strong choice for kids who like Andy Runton's Owly series.
