Reviews

If you like East and West colliding, then there's no better read than Sykes's surreal, sprawling right cross of a novel. With disparate misfits, including a depraved movie star and a firebrand mystic spiralling together in an intriguing car crash story, bet you'll never guess how they're interconnected together like a quantum entanglement. Nobody is safe but everyone might just be saved. Or as the eccentric Colonel Fishwit might quip about any Gordian knot needing a good sword: "It's like a party where everyone's invited. Everyone except you mother***ers."
