GRAPHIC DESIGNER

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Graphic Designer for the Marketing division within a large supplier to the Telecommunications sector within Botswana. The incumbent will be required to design the artworks for all advertising and marketing campaigns within the organisation. These will be used for billboard, newspaper, product catalogs as well as for social media promotions. They will also need to generate new content on an ongoing basis for the company’s website.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Study marketing briefs and determine the requirements

• Conceptualize visuals based on the briefs issued

• Develop and maintain a company standard for all marketing campaigns

• Concept and artwork development for all new product launches

• Maintain a library of artworks that can be used at short notice for any off the cuff advertising that is required at short notice advertising

• Develop all artworks and design concepts that will capture our audience and communicate the message that we are putting out to our consumer base.

• Will inherit the overall responsibility for the look and feel of Company Website pertaining to the promotions and artwork required within the website.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven graphic design experience

• Must be able to produce a strong portfolio of pervious illustrations and graphics

• Familiarity with Graphic design software

• Keen eye for detail and aesthetics

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work methodically and be able to meet deadlines.

• The Position is based in Gaborone
