Toyota tops other brands in first time registrations
Toyota topped other car makers in the country in the last quarter of 2020 as fresh data from Statistics Botswana shows that the Japanese car maker contributed 36.2 percent in total to the 14,308 vehicles registered during the quarter. Toyota was followed by Mazda with 12.2 percent. Honda was the third favorite make registering 10.4 percent of the total. “The highest number of first registrations in Q4 2020 were used vehicles, constituting 81.7 percent of the total,” said Statistics Botswana in a sectorial quarterly review.
