PASTOR PUBLISHES ‘ REDEMPTION JOURNAL’

A spiritual book journal to guide the youth’s lives

- IRENE SHONE BG CORRESPONDENT

For the prospective pastor, Tshepo Lisa Gabaikitse, consistency is essential in life, hence her newly written journal to be distributed on a larger scale soon.

Her debut book journal is entitled; ’ Redemption Journal’, meant to encourage the youth to be proactive in life. Gabaikitse describes this brand new read as an interactive journal with different activities. She deliberately put out the activities sections, to all people to read and reflect on their daily life choices. She is of the view that people struggle with keeping their lives together, especially in this era where there are so many life challenges.“

Asked what inspired her to write this journal, she tells BG Style that everyone’s spiritual wellbeing needs to be nurtured, and that is why her book is in spiritual context. “I have observed the lack of consistency in my own spiritual & personal life, and thought that as I am practicing to become a pastor, then I can already start ministering to the people through a book,” she says explaining that, young women in particular find themselves going through a lot, as they reach the self- discovery stage. “It is important for people to know their purpose in life. Some people find it difficult to open up and discuss issues with others, so this journal tries to kill that stereotype and encourage people to be prayerful and resolve issues amicably.

“This journal is a step by step guide to help young women to keep up with their spiritual, personal and mental lives, it assists one to know who they are in Christ,” she says. Activities in this book journal include; self- discovery, how to pray, and other many activities to keep fit physically and mentally.

Gakebaitse has currently been doing reviews on this special writing, virtually to give people an insight of what to be expected in the book. She is positive with how people are responding, as they are curious about this journal.

She is also taking orders and anticipating to launch the book in style soon, with a reasonable number of hard copies to engage her followers, with that traditional book lovers, who believe in specifically reading a book in hard copy form.
