Accepting the award, her mother Anna Mokgethi was proud of her daughter for getting this recognition.

She explained that her daughter dedicated her life to the music industry in particular, HIP Hop. “From a young age, music has always been her passion, and this became evident when she abandoned her tertiary studies to pursue music fulltime.” According to Mokgethi, Hip Hop was her escape, and that she expressed herself through lyrics; she fought her battles to the rhythm of the beat. “She shared her life with the world, and in return, the world shared its love with her. To all her fans, thank you for dancing to her songs, singing the lyrics and for your loyalty to her brand,” she said.
