Berry Heart Creations plans a national tour
Local creative, and now Berry Heart Creations brand ambassador, Pako Mosele, also known as Pako, the choreographer, looks forward to growing the Berry Heart Creations brand better, during his 2021/ 22 tenure.
He shares that, fashion is a way in which one expresses themselves, and what he has observed is that, most people think Berry Heart Creations caters for women’s wear only. However, that is not the case and the enthusiastic Mosele is already working on a Tik Tok account to show people what the fashion with a heart, Berry Heart Creations has to offer on male wear. Endorsed only last month, Mosele has proven to be the people’s favourite as he dresses well and really represents the brand when it comes to men’s wear. “Through the biggest project, of Tik Tok, we want men to appreciate dressing up too, through our casual wear, suits and gym wear,” he says. He also tells BG Style that as Berry Heart Creations is well known to be an online shop, they are also working on yet another special event dubbed ‘ Berry Heart Creations Tour’, a fascinating tour they are going to have across the country, to take the brand to the people, for the first time ever. “We only have one shop in Gaborone, and so this is an opportunity to take our product to the people, to see what we have to offer than to only view products online, because we always courier to people outside Gaborone,” he explains. The tour is expected to take place around September and the first trip comprises of the first stop from Gaborone, being Jwaneng, Gantsi and to Maun, then Kasane/ Francistown and Serowe, Mahalapye and Palapye on their way back to Gaborone.
Mosele is overjoyed to be part of this brand and says that he has been admiring its growth from a distance, and so he is grateful that he is finally the face of it. “All this started as a dream, and when a friend sent me a screen shot that Berry Heart Creations was searching for the new brand ambassador, I quickly grabbed the opportunity, and I was skeptical about winning because we were more than 120 but by God’s grace I emerged the winner,” he says.
He says being a ball dancer, and teaching choreography to people, as well as always performing at weddings, and showcasing Berry Heart Creations wear, simply completes him as a creative. He is of the view that being a face of a business means ensuring that the international space finds the brand attracting to associate with, and hence urges other local brand ambassadors for different products to note this hint. Owner and Director at Berry Heart Creations, Keotshepile Motseonageng better known as Berry Heart, says that Mosele was indeed the right candidate for this season’s ambassadorship, based on the fact that he is already in the arts industry and he is a fitness person. “With his good gym physique, he makes Berry Heart outfits outstanding, and just his hard work is sufficient to sell any brand out there because he knows how to deal with clients, and is very well behaved,” she says. She reiterates that Mosele plays a role in the male wear, generally because with his videos and pictures, he inspires men on how to dress well, and thereby killing the stereotype that, dressing up is only meant for women. She is also excited about the upcoming tour, and tells BG Style that they have always wanted to take the brand
to the people, but have been limited by the Covid pandemic for the past two years. She says working with Mosele is more of “an artist empowering a fellow artist”.
She explains that they would be mingling with their fans during their stops while on the tour, so that
people can appreciate their product and get to feel the quality of their clothing at hand, and have that first hand shopping experience too.
She also tells this publication that they are excited that they are adding a lot of new products this season, which are to be announced soon.
