Now to Parliament news: Kgosi Chongchong has been re- elected as the Chairperso­n of Ntlo ya Dikgosi for the fourth consecutiv­e year. In his acceptance speech, Kgosi Chongchong thanked members of the lower house of parliament for their vote of confidence in him.

The multi- talented kgosi is also a Setswana poet and has temporaril­y put his musical career on hold to focus on bogosi. His chart- topping kwasakwasa

album, Ntsha nkgo re kgarithe, won him a record seven BOMU awards. In other news: the UDC- BDP- BPF coalition has won the Masama council bye- election which was held last Saturday.
