Orapa United will have an opportunity to serve log leaders Gaborone United a cold dish of revenge this weekend. Orapa United succumbed to a late goal back in January as their former player, Thero Setsile punished them to a defeat to Moyagoleele.

With an opportunity to start on a clean slate, the Ostriches will come into the game with their sights set on getting their revenge against the red hot Gaborone United, when the two sides cross swords at the National Stadium this Saturday.

Although the Ostriches have lost at home against Gaborone United, the team under the guidance of Mogomotsi Mpote will come all cylinders firing as they seek to get their best results in the top of the table clash.

Despite them seeking revenge, the Orapa based side have an opportunity to close the gap on the log leaders, who are 8 points ahead of them. Orapa United has so far gathered 30 points while Gaborone United have in their bag 38 points, both teams have played 15 games. Orapa United’s leading goalscorer, Mbatshi Elias is expected to be on song and trouble the Money Machine’s defense that has been growing in confidence game after game with their effective defending. The Ostriches have conceded 12 goals this season boasting the fourth best defense in the league and can make a few adjustments to their defense to have an improved version of the backline. On the other hand, Gaborone United are still focusing on running away with the league, although they seemed to slip here and there, the team still has their sight fixed on the bigger picture, which is winning the league. The Old Naledi Club has the best attack and defense in the league, having scored 35 goals and conceding only 7 in their 15 games, a record which proves that the team is on a clear mission to dominate the league this season. The Ostriches will have to breach a strong defense and withstand a diverse attack that Gaborone United has been gloating this season. The Money Machine have advanced attackers in Thatayaone Kgamanyane and Thero Setsile, who are backed by Kekaetswe Moloi.

In defense, they have welcomed back Kennedy Amutenya, who has the likes of Thato Kebue and Mothusi Johnson for assistance in the backline, coach Innocent Morapedi will be spoilt for choice in all the departments.
