PPADB transforms to Regulatory authority

Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board ( PPADB) will become a regulatory authority beginning of April 2022, following the enactment of the Public Procurement Act.

The Act will transform PPADB into a regulatory authority with procurement oversight responsibilities. Presenting the Committee of Supply on Tuesday, Minister of Finance and Economic Development, Peggy Serame said in order to facilitate the transformation process, the process of developing change management plans, and organisation strategy is underway as part of the restructuring of the new organisation.

“This will ensure smooth transition and avoid disruption of service to the public.”
