Since his arrival at Township Rollers in December last year, young promising coach, Romain Folz has been a talk of the town. His tactics and influence on players did not take long to show as from 12 games that he has been in charge he has won 10 games while only two ended in a draw. This weekend his undefeated run will be challenged once again, this time by the former Township Rollers coach, Mogomotsi Mpote who is on the side of Orapa United. Mpote has in the past enjoyed playing against his former club and winning against them. Folz, with his calm demeanor and his calculated tactics has now become a target for many coaches, who are silently trying to end his undefeated run since arriving at MmaMasire. However, the coach has remained dedicated to his course and for him he does the job on the dugout.

The young tactician has found himself rediscovering many players including the likes of Kutlwelo Mpolokang, Phenyo Serameng, Segolame Boy among several others, he has improved their game and changed how they play. The coach looks like a great motivator, he has kept the team intact and improved the togetherness in the team, not only do his players play for him but they also play for each other and above all, their team badge.

This weekend, Folz will take a long trip to Orapa where the Ostriches lay in wait to end his good run at their fortress Itekeng Stadium on Saturday, the Ostriches however have been blowing hot and cold in recent history. It remains to be seen if they’re the team to challenge Rollers and Folz. Folz will want to stay abreast with bitter rivals Gaborone United, who are just a point above them at the top of the table. Popa are on 52 points while the Money Machine are on 53 points, the race for the league title will be intensified by this fixture.

On the other hand, Orapa United are also looking at chasing the two teams as they are in third position. With that being said they have Jwaneng Galaxy breathing heavily on their neck, and the Ostriches have 38 points while Galaxy have 37 with two games in hand. Sua Flamingoes and Security Systems also have their eyes set on the third spot, both teams have accumulated 36 points so far.
