Moonlight Casino revamped in new location
The Moonlight Casino, situated at Airport Junction Mall was officially opened. The casino comes as a new and revamped face of the old Moonlight casino which was situated at Gaborone Hotel, next to the ever busy bus rank.
During that time, the casino had about 62 slot machines and 4 tables. Owner, Bipin Awasthi says business was not good at GH and he moved to find a place which will carry well his dream and meet expectations of his clientele. A step into the new building, one is greeted by eye catching scenery. The colourful slots machines stare right back at one from the entrance. And there are many of them, 122 to be exact for an easy gaming experience. In addition to that are 10 tables. Out of the 10 tables, six are American Roulettes, three black jacks and one, Poker table. It is clear as one approaches the machines that gaming could not be better. With such, one cannot help but start pressing buttons. Even when not familiar with gambling, the thrill of pushing everything all at once rushes over.
There is no need of a huge budget to be at a * casino. From as little as 50t you are able to roll into action. Well, one needs to pay an entry fee of P10 at the door first, then they get registered and given a card which they use to load money into. Linkie Engelbrecht, manager of slots and tables says the idea is to make their clients comfortable. That is why the place is very spacious. And the lighting is just subtle enough, not too bright to expose anyone. Engelbrecht explains to this publication that privacy for their clients is everything. After all they deal with high profile clientele from time to time. “We have a secluded room for clients who require privacy and those who mostly use it are the big guns in the game,” she explains.
Moonlight Casino consists of several departments. They have a food and beverages section, and one can enjoy the games while sipping and nibbling on their favourite beverages and food.
They also have the Human Resource department, Marketing, surveillance room, Cashiering and machine slots. There is also the galaxy lounge for those who just come into the casino to relax and unwind. “We are for all, smokers, non smokers, civil servants, married, single and the private,” she said.
