Tshepo Lesole at Maitisong

Tshepo Lesole is a giant in music. A man whose wisdom through music heals the sick and will have one getting up and walking to church. Lesole is no ordinary music guru. His work as evidenced in the success of his music career and the number of artists that he has worked with, both local and outside the country, this is no ordinary artist. And this Saturday ( May 7th), he will literally raise the ceiling of Maitisong Theatre at a show that many have been waiting for years to experience. It has been almost five years since he had his last show. In between these past years, he has been featured at some top shows. This time around, he will be the main person. Dubbed Manifest Worship with Tshepo Lesole & Friends, this is no ordinary show. The show features Lesole himself, Doba and Lizibo. Most importantl­y, it features his wife, Angie Lesole, who will be making her debut on the big stage. Tickets to the show are sold at web tickets and Spar outlets. Early bird tickets are P100, and standard tickets are P150. Speaking in an interview with this publicatio­n, he explains that it has been a while since he has had a show of his own. His last show was somewhere in 2017. The landscape for gospel artists has also changed, and people are hungry for gospel shows. “The space has grown to the extent that the support has also improved,” he said.

He also says that the quality of music is of great quality. “People are ready and hungry to come and worship,” said Lesole.

He further shares that the target audience is music lovers in general, as evidenced by the addition of Lizibo on the line- up. “The audience can expect good music,” he said. Lesole also said that the intimate show will warm up spirituall­y and musically lift the audience. “It is going to be an explosive show. It will be a nice and cozy production,” said Lesole, adding that one of the highlights will be his wife taking to the show. He has previously featured her in his production­s but this will be the biggest one. Meanwhile, he also shared that he is just about ready to release his EP titled, Lounge Worship Experience. The single for the EP titled, Ha ke nale wena, a very powerful song that talks about faith and trusting in the lord entirely. The single also showcases his skills in production and his voice is soothing and calming, and ideal to those who might be walking through some challenges in life right now.
