- BG CORRESPONDENT

Samantha Mogwe has released her latest music offering. In the brand new offering, Mogwe has partnered with the amazing Jordan Moozy on a song titled, Oxygen. The song was set to premiere on Thursday this week. Oxygen is described as a gorgeous fusion of various cultures ( Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe), and also has highlights of Neo Soul and Afro Beats.

A press release explains that the song was written by Samantha Mogwe and Jordan Moozy, and arranged and produced by KD Bangers. The release also explains that both Samantha and Moozy have wished to create some magic together for years, going as far as recording some unreleased material, and finally choosing this song to announce their exciting collaboration.

The song, says the release, looks at a sense of wonder and luster, a magical atmosphere that makes you feel goodness of some sort lurking in the air.

“It is really a feel- good song that allows you to keep pushing forward, despite not seeing the fruits of your labour as yet.

It looks at focusing on wanting to soar, to inspire, to be exactly who you are meant to be and knowing that it is a powerful place to be in,” says the press release.

Some of the lyrics in the songs go like “Healing, feeling, breathing, oxygen... I know a new dawn begins...”

“One day this will count for something, reaching greater heights.... Praying I’ll reach the peek.”
