Intentiona­l when it comes to what the team puts their heart and mind to, City & Safari Internatio­nalDMC, this Saturday lived to expectatio­n, hosting the first edition of the Uplifting Brunch with Amanda Dambuza.

A lavish but delicate event, with the right touch of everything, those who follow the renowned Dambuza came ready and prepared to absorb, laugh and just enjoy a fun day of learning and wanted to leave the venue uplifted and in a better place, mentally and spirituall­y.

The venue for this maiden breathtaki­ng brunch happened to be Lentswe

Conference Room at the recently renovated Phakalane Golf Estate. Lentswe Conference room itself is not just your ordinary conference room. Situated on the first floor of the venue, guests use a private staircase to reach the room. With an intricate marble backdrop to the fireplace, this is a room reserved for those who like and indulge in the finer things in life. Accessoriz­ing the table setting, Mma Mmidi George had brought out her best tea cups bringing a whole new vibe to the event. George, Mother K Masire and Tshepi Mganga had done a brilliant job of transformi­ng Lentswe.

The MC for the day happened to be one of the best voices in our radio, MC Jazzelle Kebakile. By the end of the event, she was one of the guests who literally let the tears flow.

The talented DJ Kells, who is always in his element, took his audience on a journey of songs from gospel to the old classical hits. The chief host and hostess, Tshepi Mganga and her team had literally gone all out for this particular event attended by guests from as far as
