Miss Botswana 2021, Palesa Molefe will crown her successor on October 22nd. But before the big day, organisers are working around the clock to shape and nurture the young ladies who wish to be crowned the most beautiful lady in the whole of Botswana. In the coming days and weeks, the Top 15 will undergo a series of events that are meant to prep them.

The Top 15 finalists include Alipo Makosha, Bridgette Orefile Mokgojwa, Cheshe Luba Tsayang, Cynthia Kalayakgosi, Coconut Kgautlhe, Goitsemodimo Jogwe, Gontlafetse Oagile, Lesego Chombo, Lesego Sadie Sejai, Lorato Kgangyapelo, Neo Phologa, Pearl Mokgosi, Puseletso Lobelwane, Sebaga Manyapetsa, and Marang El Nthaga. The Top 15 were scored and selected based on their performance in photography, gym, public support and Q& A, assessed by former Miss Botswana queens, Emma Wareus and Lala Tebogo.

They have gone through a motivational and development session hosted by New Capitol Cinema. Topics and speakers not only prepped them for their journey to become the Queen but were also meant to assist them with navigating life. Speakers included Marang Selolwane on Public Speaking, Motherk Masire on Mindfulness, Didintle Moreki of Organic Natural on Entrepreneurship, as well as Chatiwa Motlhabane from Bank Gaborone on Financial Literacy. This Saturday, the aspiring queens will undergo a session that will teach them a number of key issues that a queen must possess which include real qualities of grace, etiquette, commitment and determination to succeed. They will get to sit down with former queens, and learn how to walk, speak eloquently, and deal with the pressures of being in the public eye.

Taking them through this integral session is none other than Juby Peacock ( Miss Botswana 2014) and the reigning queen, Palesa Molefe. Most importantly on the day, they are set to present their Beauty with a purpose projects. Two lucky ones will advance to the Top 10 from this session, says organisers.

Next Saturday ( September 3rd), the finalists will go through a Sport Session, which is said to be a transformational experience. Proceedings of the day will include Aerial Yoga, facilitated by Samantha L Vermeulen of SLV Yoga House. One lady will advance to the Top 10.

On September 10th, the Head to Head Session will take place. One more finalist will advance to the Top 10. The rest of the 6 finalists who will advance to the Top 10 will come from public and other criteria. The Top 10 will be unveiled on September 12th.
