MOLOSI JOINS BRITISH TV SERIES

-

Botswana- born actor, Donald Molosi jetted off to London earlier this week to start filming in an undisclosed British TV series.

At the time of printing, it was unclear what the series is called, and the role that Molosi will play. But Molosi’s management has indeed confirmed that the Trinidad- based actor will begin filming this Thursday. “I am flying to England this week to film a series. London is the city of my youth back when I was 20 and in Drama School. Therefore, going to London always feels great,” says Molosi. He explains that he has been living in Trinidad for two years now while writing his upcoming book. “I am happy to take a break from writing,” he explains. He also shared that at this time, he can’t divulge information about this series. “I can’t say too much about the series. I can tell you though, that I get to wear a dress in it. This is exciting because I like to wear dresses sometimes,” he says. One of Molosi’s managers, Rosie Motene explains: “We can finally share the great news as the contract has now been signed. Molosi has landed a role in a series that is filming in London. In time, we will share more details,” she said. Molosi first came to prominence as an actor when he made history as the first Motswana to perform on Broadway. During his 15 years on Broadway, Molosi won numerous awards from his writing and acting. His past film credits include A United Kingdom opposite Rosamund Pike.
