BOSETU HOLDS SPECIAL
Botswana Sectors of Educators Trade Union ( BOSETU) recently held their congress, under the theme, ' Internal introspection and process; Re- engineering, repositioning BOSETU for greater challenges'. This special congress, gathered union members to reflect on their progress as a union. BOSETU exists to ensure that educators’ rights and welfare are realized and protected. President of BOSETU, Winston Radikolo highlighted that this was an opportunity to address special matters that are aimed at driving BOSETU to greater heights.
"Delegates are going to be challenged and indeed expected to do a lot of introspection regarding the new constitution that is going to be presented," he said, adding that the theme of the congress encourages members to reflect on what they are doing to fulfil what they stand for. Furthermore, Radikolo said the theme interrogates how they could leverage on their numbers and their unique competencies to drive meaningful dialogue and solution in their education system and their polity.
