WHAT ELSE WUC SHOULD ELIMINATE
Granted, we may say some snarky things in the item above but to be perfectly clear, we are happy with WUC’s decision to “eliminate” the practice of estimating the amount of water bills. However, there is much more that WUC should eliminate.
The corporation should eliminate fong kong- ish ICT infrastructure that is the reason its revenue staff sing the national anthem every hour: “System e down”; it should eliminate long queues at its revenue offices; it should eliminate the brown in the colour of water consumed in Maun; it should eliminate perennial rivers of human waste that run through Gaborone streets; and most importantly, should either eliminate “keep it flowing” in its strapline (“We keep it flowing for you”) or start the sentence with “sometimes.”
