Cresta Lodge Maun anticipates a glamorous and classic Ladies High Tea tomorrow ( Saturday) at the Lodge’s lovely garden.

This is an inaugural high tea to be hosted by the hotel in Maun. Area Sales Manager North, Wame Masike tells BG Style that the lifestyle event is set to allow women to sit together, refresh and mingle while discussing a variety of topics.

There would be six speakers at the event, including: Kgosi Kealetile Moremi. Masike says that the event also aims at embracing women and emphasizes that women shouldn’t be celebrated on Women’s Day celebrations only.

The theme to this event speaks to the ladies to come dressed up in dress and doek. As per the norm of a high tea event, they would be treated to a variety of teas. They would also induldge in tasty pastries, champagnes as well as cider tasting. “The idea is to encourage women empowerment and so they would benefit a lot on different topics,” says Masike.

“Having Kgosi Kealetile Moremi was to deliberately ensure that we have the township’s leadership involved on issues sur- * rounding empowering women, as she is also a woman,” she says. She adds that the event is likely to become an annual ocassion, based on the feedback that they would get. “We actually hope for the best as through this concept, we want to encourage the ideology of celebrating women throughout as we recognize them as thari ya sechaba,” she adds.

She also highlights that there would be fun activities at the brunch event. Masike also notes that, this is meant to appreciate the hotel for the potential it has, as well as enjoy the ambiance and obviously treat the lifestyle lovers to an exceptional experience.
