As he gears up for his homecoming festival, Kumnandi Ekhaya, which is to be held at Legola Farm in Thamaga, affectionately known as TMG, on September 30, Uthando hitmaker, DJ Ngwazi has promised to give revellers a ‘ Hollywood’ experience.

Speaking during a press briefing on Monday, DJ Ngwazi, born Lushen Kebatlege said the fact that the event would be held during Independence day as Botswana celebrates 56 years of independence, means a lot to him. He disclosed that from the VIP marquee to the setup on the day, it will be something the residents of Thamaga and surrounding villages had never experienced before. With headliners like Makhadzi and Master KG, DJ Ngwazi said their event has one of the best line- up of artists one could think of. “September 30 should just be declared my day because I will be dropping a new song, featuring Nokwazi,” he said. The DJ, who is based in South Africa and also doubles as Master KG’s DJ, added that a lot of SA residents will attend the festival, and that Batswana should afford them the same hospitality.

“Batswana love people and know how to welcome guests, so I will be expecting our guests to return with good stories to tell. We are going to boost our local tourism as well,” he emphasised,” said DJ Ngwazi. Speaking of Safety, All Night Security will be taking care of security on the day, who are said to be bringing 100 guards, dogs and horses. Tickets for the event are sold at various Choppies outlets across the country. Pre- sold general tickets are sold at P200 each while a double ticket costs P350, and VIP ticket is P1000 while VVIP tickets costs P1500 each.
