- BG REPORTER

The annual Just Sex event returns this November. The event is an idea that emanated from the annual Women’s Etiquette Brunch event, and has been held in November since 2018.

The Annual Sexual Health and Wellness event comprises of a panel of health and educational experts from different fields. The event that returns to Cresta this November 18th, features four presenters. Making her return to Botswana is none

other than Elna Rudolph, a sexologist who in one of her sessions spoke about 72 thrusts for men, a topic that gave many sleepless nights. With a wealth of knowledge on various topics that are related to the taboo subject that is sex, this is one speaker who a good day gives guests an insight about various sexual topics. In the past, she also spoke about painful sex, and a host of other topics. No topic is taboo to Rudolph who is always eager to share insights and knowledge about the diverse topics surrounding sex. For those who might have concerns, and questions that they might wish to ask the expert, this will be the right time for them to garner up the courage and learn and absorb knowledge. Other speakers to look forward to include Dr Lucky Odirile ( on Navigating Relationships), Dr Vincent Molelekwa ( on Fertility/ Infertility/ Mens Health) as well as Dudu Laone Monkge ( on her story about Endometriosis). According to the event organiser, Michelle Phetlhe of EsTERES Agency, the event consistently aims for execution in the month of November to commemorate the month of men’s health, coined MOVEMBER whilst also coinciding with the upcoming date of December 1, which is World Aids

Day. “Our mandate is to use our event as a springboard for a conversation and as an awareness tool. This helps to activate, gear and mitigate where important messages easily get lost in the excitement of year end festivities and clutter of the busy season. The idea is to carry this message of sexual health and wellness forward annually under the event concept dubbed ‘ just sex’,” she said. She further said that their venue partner remains Cresta Lodge. She also said one of their key sponsors is Durex. “It makes perfect sense seeing as the Durex brand is very intentional in applying themselves to sharing product knowledge and education. Durex is committed to promoting responsible sex and reproductive healthcare and raising awareness of the safer sex message worldwide through the development and support of sexual health initiatives,” she explained. She further said that this year, they had tried to balance offer experiential eventing solutions, and are balancing out the speaker line up, ensuring guests thoroughly benefit from the holistic approach. Ticket are on sale for ( P300 Single and P500 Double inclusive of light dinner).
