NANOGA MOGWEBI CREATING LONG- TERM VALUE: KBL INTRODUCES NANOGA MOGWEBI

Kgalagadi Breweries ( Pty) Ltd ( KBL) recently launched the Nanoga Mogwebi retailer developmen­t program. From 10 to 14 October 2022, more than 300 business owners from retail outlets across the country participat­ed in a two- day business management course organized by the brewing giant.

The trainings took place in Francistow­n, Gaborone, Lobatse, Kanye, Mahalapye, and Palapye. Corporate Affairs Specialist, Bose Mpuchane, described the aim of the program as being to “help our strategic partners develop sustainabl­e businesses that create long- term value in the communitie­s they operate.”

Topics covered in the training included: principles of record- keeping; the 4Ps of marketing; identifyin­g customer needs and customer service best practices; and critically understand­ing the legal and regulatory requiremen­ts of operating a liquor business in Botswana.

On what she hopes the participan­ts take away from the experience, National Trade Marketing Manager, Oteng Tlhong had this to say, “We want for them to apply the learnings they acquired during the trainings, which we believe are fundamenta­l tools for growing one’s business.”
