Kweneng Regional Football Association ( KRFA)’ s dirty linen is now in the public eye, following postponement of their regional elective general assembly which was earmarked over this past weekend, and the Botswana Football Association ( BFA) has been accused of causing the fracas.
Following an intense campaign, particularly for the chairmanship position, which is being contested by the incumbent, Lekgotla
Raditloko and his long term friend, VTM Director, Vincent Mafuta, concerns over irregularities and tempering with the voters roll were picked.
According to sources close to the developments, the Botswana Football Association ( BFA) requested the region ( KRFA) to submit names of the delegates with a set deadline date of the 27th September 2022. Following various challenges faced by the region, including among others, some teams failing to submit names, the deadline was not met and the region was given an extension by the association.
