Another test for Holy Ghost

- BG correspondent

Following their tough 2- 2 draw with Jwaneng Galaxy on the opening day of the new 2022/ 2023 season, league newcomers, Holy Ghost will yet endure another test when they face reigning Champions, Gaborone United at Lobatse Sports Complex this weekend.

Despite that, Holy Ghost has proven their tenacity over time and they still prove that they can take the bull by the horns, following their sharing of spoils with Jwaneng Galaxy.

The Mmopane based team does not shy away from scoring goals, having scored two goals against the trusted defense of Jwaneng Galaxy, there is no doubt they can go on to challenge Gaborone United this weekend. Not only that, the Holy Boys managed to

overcome a two goal deficit, coming back from two goals down to level matters, something that proves that

indeed the team has the fighting spirit and if they bring that mentality against Gaborone United they will somehow get something out of the game. Moreover, the experience of Michael Pillar and Botlhe Moralo is supposed to be of value to the team, they should guide the youngsters against big teams like the Money Machine.

The team boasts prolific attackers such as Kitso Kgopa, Kgomotso Kgopegang and Abang Molobe.

On the other hand, Money Machine have been very ruthless and there is little chance that they can let this fixture slip out of their fingers, the team is all about collecting maximum points so early into the season.

The team has seasoned players who will not at any time let them down, Mothusi Cooper and Lebogang Ditsele have a role of marshaling the midfield while

Thero Setsile is given a free role to roam the defense of the Holy Boys with

Mpho Kgaswane supporting him while Onkabetse Makgantai acts as a target man. In other matches, Township Rollers entertain Police XI at Lobatse Sports complex under floodlights.

Mogoditshane Fighters will want to lick their wounds following the weekend defeat, and they host Orapa United at VTM grounds on Saturday. BDF XI welcomes Nico United at Otse Sports Complex while Eleven Angels will be on the road for an exciting fixture against Extension Gunners at Lobatse still on Saturday. The games continue on Sunday when Masitaoka play hosts to Security Systems at Molepolole Sports Complex, Jwaneng Galaxy and Sua Flamingoes will battle for bragging rights at the Galaxy Stadium.

Morupule Wanderers and Prisons XI will conclude the fixtures at Serowe Sports Complex.
