Reprieve ahead of festive

Mindfulnes­s organisati­on, Botho Treats encourages many of us to take a reprieve, a pause before the festive season begins Hence, they are hosting guests to a morning where they can get to pause, before the festive season catches up with most of us. The event is for lovers of this time of the year, and also targets those who dread the feelings or memories that this period brings. The Mindfulnes­s Pause Retreat seeks to help guests to feel rested, balanced, and able to journey through the festive season grounded. The event will be hosted at Lobatse Farms. Highlights of the day will include mindfulnes­s and grounding activities that include Yoga, meditation­s, breath work, massages, and creative expression. Guests will be treated to delectable treats that tie well with the theme for the day. “You will leave feeling calmer, centred and ready to be present and grounded during the festive season,” explains event organiser, MotherK Masire. She also notes that all activities will be suitable for beginners, and that those who will come do not have to worry about anything else but to focus on the moment. “We welcome people of all ages, genders, and from all walks of life,” she states. Guests will also be treated and gifted with guided meditation­s, Yoga, breath work, and headgear. MotherK Masire is the founder of Botho Treats and mindfulnes­s teacher and a coach with over 10 years experience. She has been leading mindfulnes­s retreats, helping people meet life’s joys and challenges with greater presence, compassion and resilience.
